We’ll see a craft commerce installation using composer. you should have preinstalled composer version 1.3 or later, PHP 8.0.2 or later, and craft cms. following are some additional packages required for craft-commerce :

dompdf/dompdf(opens new window) ^1.0.2 (recommends GD and IMagick)
ibericode/vat(opens new window) ^1.1.2
iio/libmergepdf(opens new window) ^4.0

Step 1: We’ll set up craft cms using composer. Run the “composer create-project craftcms/craft craft-commerce-app” command in your terminal to start the craft cms installation process. During installation, it will ask for database configuration and admin account setup details. see below screenshots:

Steps 2: After completing above step, craft cms is successfully installed. You can simple access default page by run site URL. for example in our case, site URL is “http://craft-commerce-app.test/” and you will see output like below screenshot

Step 3: Now, let go to your control panel, navigate to Plugin Store after login and search for “Commerce”. Choose Craft Commerce, and from there you can choose to Add to Cart or Try for either edition. We have used try version. See below screenshots:
