Step 1: Go to http://www.web2py.com/init/default/download website and download the zip file. For example, I am using Windows PC. So, I downloaded https://mdipierro.pythonanywhere.com/examples/static/web2py_win_py27.zip file.
Step 2: Once the file is downloaded, Unzip the downloaded files in your project directory.
Step 3: After unzipping files, find and click on web2py.exe (Windows) or web2py (MacOs) to run the program. When you run the program, it may be possible that Windows or Mac shows security-related warnings. Please bypass the warning to run the program
Step 4: When you open the program, It shows information related to Server IP, Server Port, etc. Now, enter any password in the password field and click on the start server button to run the server
