You must have preinstalled the latest version of the Node.js framework.
1). Create a project directory “my-hapi-app” and go to “my-hapi-app” by running the “cd my-hapi-app” command in your
terminal
2). Run: the “npm init” command in your terminal and follow the prompts. This will generate a package.json file for
you.
3). Run “npm install @hapi/hapi” to install the latest version of hapi in your project.
4). Install “nodemon” package by running the “npm i nodemon -g” command in your terminal
5). Create an index.js file and add the following code to file :
